FDM

Application Specific, High-Performance Materials - Ideal for 3D Printing for Rapid Prototypes

What is FDM 3D Printing?

Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing process that constructs objects layer by layer using heated thermoplastic materials. A heated nozzle extrudes melted thermoplastic filament, which quickly solidifies upon deposition. The build platform descends after each layer, gradually building the object from the bottom up.

Using specialist production thermoplastics, the applications of FDM 3D printing are limitless.
From static dissipation, flame-proof and elastic materials through to carbon fibre filled and anti-bacterial materials you are sure to find a material perfect for your production requirements.

Why using FDM printing?

Affordability - FDM printing provides a cost-effective entry point into 3D printing
Material Versatility - FDM offers a wide filament selection, from PLA to specialty composites, providing users with diverse printing options.
Durability and Structural Integrity - FDM prints durable objects, ideal for functional prototypes and end-use products.
Safety and Environment - Many available filaments are non-toxic , biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
Rapid Prototyping - FDM printers enable rapid design iterations for quick adjustments and refinements in prototyping.
Scalability and Large Print Volume - FDM technology suits various project sizes, from small-scale models to large-volume creations.
